When requiring the review of multiple appraisals for a large right-of-way project, or a single valuation report for trial, you need to engage an experienced reviewer who understands how to develop and communicate a credible appraisal report. The review appraiser occupies the unique position of arbiter of the many issues presented in the appraisals. Because the appraisal provides the basis upon which the state/city/county endeavors to determine adequate (just) compensation to acquire property, it follows that nothing less than the best possible efforts are acceptable.
